COMPANY HISTORY:
We are the first company creating climbing gear, based in Greece. Brand new, modern, advanced company, we are proud to export mountaineering and outdoor equipment, all over the world. The name of the company 2918, was inspired from the highest altitude in Greece, 2918 meters. Located at the mythical Olympus mountain, with the pick named Mytikas. Studying the local flora and fauna of the mountain, a very interesting tiny black and bright yellow creature popup. The fire salamander, became our mascot since then, and the inspiration for the whole branding of the company. As well as its long-standing tradition in the manufacture of ropes, decades of experience and the in-depth knowledge of specialists in the areas of clothing, sleeping bags, shoes and accessories, 2918 also relies to a great extent on feedback from numerous sportsmen and women, who regularly use, test and participate in the development of 2918 Sports Group equipment.
